Basics

Welcome to YidCraft! This guide covers everything you need to know when joining the server for the first time.

When you first join the server, you will spawn at the main spawn area.

From here, you can begin exploring the world, learn the server’s features, and start earning your first shekels.

There are many ways to make money on YidCraft, including:

  • ⛏️ Mining and selling ores
  • 🎣 Fishing
  • 🛒 Creating Chest Shops
  • 🥩 Selling kosher foods
  • 📈 Investing in the stock market
  • 🌾 Farming and gathering resources

As more features are added, even more ways to earn shekels will become available.

The Jewish features are the heart of the server, and you can start on all of them in your first few minutes.

  1. Log in. You are given two sefarim and already know their halachos.
  2. Run /skills to see what you know.
  3. Run /kosher keep to join the Kosher Challenge.
  4. Craft a Shechita Knife from an iron sword, wheat, and bone, stacked vertically.
  5. Go to spawn, get into the mikveh water, and click to toivel the knife.
  6. Kill a cow with the knife, cook the beef, and eat it for points.

Full details live in Kosher System, Skills and Sefarim, and Mezuzos.

The main command you’ll need when getting started is:
