Chest Shops allow players to buy and sell items directly from a chest.

Place a chest where you want your shop to be located.

Place a sign exactly one block away from the chest (for example, directly above it).

Write the following format on the sign:

Line 1

• Leave this line blank.
• The plugin will automatically fill it with your username.
• Players with the ChestShop.admin permission can create shops under other players' names.

Line 2

• Enter the quantity of items being bought or sold.

Line 3

• Enter the buy and/or sell price.
• Use:
  • B = Price players pay to buy items.
  • S = Price players receive when they sell items.
• Separate buy and sell prices with a colon (:).

Examples:

B 5:5 S
B 5
S free
B 10:5 S

Line 4

• Enter the item name or ID.
• You can also place a ? on this line and the plugin will automatically detect the item from the chest.
• Alternatively, click the sign while holding the desired item.
• Use /iteminfo to view the correct item name for the item you're holding.

In the example above:

• Players can buy 64 diamonds for $10.
• Players can sell 64 diamonds back for $5.
• The shop owner is Phoenix616.
