Teams System

Teams let players group together to build, play, and progress together. Share a team, manage a home base, communicate privately, and work toward common goals as a unit.

Teammates also share each other’s doors, unless the door owner turns that off. See Mezuzos.

Your current team is displayed on the scoreboard.

  1. Create or Join a Team

To create your own team, use:

    Terminal window
    /team create <name>

Creating a team costs 250 Shekels. A confirmation prompt will appear before the payment is taken.

To join an existing team, you must receive and accept an invite from a team owner:

    Terminal window
    /team invite <player>
    /team accept
  2. Leave a Team

    Use:

    Terminal window
    /team leave

Note: Team owners cannot leave their team until they transfer ownership or disband the team.

Leaving a team closes their doors to you immediately.

  3. View Team Information

    Use:

    Terminal window
    /team info

    Displays:

    • Team name
    • Owner
    • Member count
    • Online members
    • Home status
    • Creation date

Team Chat creates a private channel visible only to online team members.

Enable or disable Team Chat:

Terminal window
/teamchat

Alias:

Terminal window
/tc

When enabled, your messages will only be visible to your team:

[Team] Steve: Let's meet at the base

When disabled, messages will appear in normal public chat.

Two commands help you find each other. They only work on members of your own team, and only you see what they show.

Terminal window
/team mark <player>

For one minute your action bar shows that teammate’s name, an arrow pointing the way to turn, and how many blocks away they are. A ▲ or ▼ with a number means they are that many blocks above or below you. A small column of light also shows over their head, for you only.

/team mark off stops it early. The mark also ends if either of you leaves the team or logs off. If they are in another world, such as the Nether, the action bar says so.

Terminal window
/team glow

Every teammate in your world glows through walls for 10 seconds, the same outline the Golem’s letter stones have. Only you see it. You can use it once every 30 seconds.

Team owners can set a shared home location that all team members can teleport to.

Terminal window
/team sethome
/team home

/team sethome is only available to the team owner.

When using:

Terminal window
/team home

a countdown will begin before teleporting.

The teleport will be cancelled if you:

  • Move too far away
  • Take damage
  • Attack an entity
  • Disconnect

The following commands are available to team owners.

Terminal window
/team invite <player>
/team kick <player>
  • /team invite sends a team invite that expires after 60 seconds.
  • /team kick removes a player from the team.
Terminal window
/team owner <player>

Transfers ownership of the team to another member.

After transferring ownership, you become a normal team member and the new owner gains full control.

Owners can rename their team:

Terminal window
/team rename <name>

Team names support color codes:

&cRedTeam

Hex colors are also supported:

&#FF5733OrangeTeam

To permanently delete your team:

Terminal window
/team disband

A confirmation prompt will appear before the team is deleted.
