Kippah, Hats, Tichel and Sheitel
Four head coverings: a Kippah and a Black Hat for men, a Tichel and a Sheitel for married women. Put one on your head like a helmet.
| Item | On its own | Over a helmet |
|---|---|---|
| Kippah | 1 armor | the helmet’s armor +1 |
| Tichel | 1 armor | the helmet’s armor +1 |
| Black Hat | 2 armor | the helmet’s armor +2 |
| Sheitel | 2 armor | the helmet’s armor +2 |
Dye them
Section titled “Dye them”A kippah and a tichel can be any colour. Put one in a crafting table with a dye, just like leather armor. The colour stays when you put it over a helmet.
Over a helmet
Section titled “Over a helmet”Put any helmet and a head covering together in a crafting table. You get one item that looks like the kippah or hat, with a little trim of the helmet’s metal, and is called by both: Diamond Black Hat, Iron Kippah, Netherite Tichel. It keeps everything the helmet had (its protection, enchantments and durability) and adds the head covering’s armor on top.
Leather, chainmail, copper, iron, gold, diamond, netherite and the turtle shell all work.
Making them
Section titled “Making them”All four need Mishnah Berurah - Kisui HaRosh. You find it in village chests (shepherds, tanneries and houses) and in stronghold libraries. Without it the crafting table stays empty and tells you so.
Kippah: any wool and a string.
Tichel: two wool and a string.
Black Hat: three black wool and a leather.
Sheitel: two wool, two string and a leather.

Section titled “Buying them”Reb Mendel’s Kosher Shop sells all four:

| Tichel | 40 |
| Black Hat | 250 |

On Bedrock
Section titled “On Bedrock”They look the same on your head, and the helmet versions show their metal trim too.
